We were delighted to welcome GB athlete Jade Lally to the college this week. She was visiting our students as part of the Inspired Through Sport programme, which aims to motivate students to adopt a healthy and active lifestyle.
Jade gave a great talk to the students and then really put them students through their paces afterwards with various exercises.
The Inspired Through Sport programme fits well with our college values as it encourages a healthy mind-set as well as resilient in any situation and not give up on those goals students wish to reach.
Jade has been ranked the UK number 1 Discus thrower since 2011 and ranked inside the top 3 since 2009. She is the 2009 European U23 Bronze medallist, a 2010 Commonwealth finalist and 3 time UK Champion.
