UTC Portsmouth is a vibrant and ambitious college committed to delivering exceptional education and fostering a supportive community for both students and staff. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Senior HR and Finance Officer to join our team on a maternity cover basis and play a key role in supporting our college’s HR and financial functions.
UTC Portsmouth isn’t a typical school – and that’s because we aren’t. We are a specialised STEM college, the only one of its kind in the local area. Our students are highly motivated, and they choose to be part of a college with a strong sense of purpose and passion for STEM.
This part-time role (27.5 hours/week, term-time only) offers a unique opportunity to work closely with the Director of Operations and Principal to manage HR and payroll administration, support recruitment and onboarding, and assist the Finance Manager with day-to-day financial management. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, proactive, and able to work effectively with various college systems including Access Accounting, iSAMS, ParentMail, and more.
The position is for 27.5 hours a week, term time only, 9:00am – 3:00pm Monday to Friday.
