I always look forward to the month of June for many different reasons. Apart from the fact that it is obviously warmer, it contains the summer solstice when the Earth's maximum axial tilt toward the Sun is 23° 26’. On the 21st June this year, this maximum tilt means that the sun will be at its highest point and we will have the longest period of sunlight.
