I felt it important to write to you as we enter the Easter break. I would like to start by conveying how impressed I have been by the response of our students during this “virtual learning” period.

It is a pleasure to be writing to you, firstly in my new capacity as Principal and secondly, following one of our most important weeks in the academic year; Progression Week. I am sure that you will, by now have realised how UTC Portsmouth does things differently to other educational establishments, with our students having regular interactions with employer partners in lessons, “Training” and additional activities.

As the days shorten and many of us see the sun far less frequently than we would like, it is always great to hear about as much good news as possible. UTC Portsmouth continues to be a very happy and bright place of learning and some days you would not even notice the Autumn gloom outside.
