The 2018-19 academic year has got off to a great start! Our new year groups of students are full and oversubscribed again. In fact, 200 additional students have joined us from dozens of different schools and colleges across the whole Solent region. I continue to be impressed by students wanting to travel some distance and by whatever means to get the specialised STEM education they have been seeking.

We have reached the final stages of our first year as a college community and I am really thrilled with how everything has gone. It was always going to be exciting for students and staff to be in a new college environment with excellent facilities.

The month of June started brilliantly at UTC Portsmouth and has continued as such. It has been great to see sixth form students working hard for their end of year exams and year 10 getting so much out of their work experience.
