Advanced Mathematics support programme area coordinator

UTC Portsmouth is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic educational professional with substantial experience of teaching A level Mathematics, Further Mathematics and/or Core Maths to take on the role of Advanced Mathematics Support Programme Area Coordinator for the South East region.

This post is part of the national Advanced Mathematics Support Programme (AMSP).

You will play a key role in the operation of the AMSP, working as part of a team of Area Coordinators across the South East region. You will be responsible for the effective management of support for schools and colleges in improving the teaching and learning of level 3 mathematics in order to increase student participation in your area.

English Teacher

We are looking for a teacher of English to join our special team commencing in January 2019 or sooner. We may, in certain circumstances and to the right candidate, offer an appropriate recruitment allowance. UTC Portsmouth operates a ‘business day’. This is slightly longer than most school days in order for students to experience as close to a full working day as possible. The advantage for students and teachers alike is a much healthier work-life balance. During the day, students have additional independent study time and teachers have more than the usual PPA time.

We are looking for a cleaner to support with the smooth day to day operation of the college by ensuring that the cleanliness and hygiene standards of the college buildings, infrastructure and site are to a high standard compliant with legislation and college policies.
