UTC Portsmouth hosted one of the most anticipated fixtures in our calendar - the Sixth Form Social for students joining us in September 2025.
Held in our bright and welcoming atrium, the event brought together future Year 12 students from across the local area. It was a fantastic opportunity for them to meet classmates ahead of the new academic year, start forming friendships, and get a genuine feel for what life is like at UTC Portsmouth.
We were delighted to be joined by Dice Portsmouth, who brought along an exciting selection of board games and shared their gaming expertise. Their involvement added a relaxed and engaging element to the afternoon, breaking the ice and sparking conversations between students who will soon be learning alongside each other.
Events like the Sixth Form Social are a vital part of our transition programme, helping to ensure that every student begins Year 12 feeling connected, confident, and ready to thrive. We encourage all prospective students to take part in these opportunities - they’re a great way to build relationships, discover shared interests, and make those first days in September feel that much easier.
